I have a friend looking to purchase an RZ4. He is looking for a good combo Ski/Wakeboard boat. I know this boat receives outstanding reviews for boarding. How will it work for moderate to advanced slalom?

I don't know how it compares to other boats its size, but I can't imagine that ANY 24-ft v-drive will produce a very flat slalom wake. A moderate skier, using it for recreational fun, may find it OK. But I really doubt that an advanced skier would enjoy it. Your friend really needs to get a pull behind it to decide if he likes the wakes - both ski and wakeboard.

What is your defintion of terrible, at 15 off with taps at 2 it has a nice rounded lip, no prop hump, no gully in the middle and a soft no bounce wake to cut through, the only thing we dont like is the spray , which blocks our view of the bouys.
When you compare that to an equal size boat of any other brand , the others dont compare.
Is it as good as my 20i , no , but for a 4500lbs boat its capable of creating a very respectble session, and by comparison , my 20i is no match for the wake surfing, so it just depends on what is going to be the most type of sport they are going to use it for.
