    Removing bottom of rear seat

Can anyone give me some advice on removing the bottom of the rear bench seat? I'm putting a new skin on it and would rather not haul the whole boat to the upholstery guy.

    Thanks!

I believe (not exactly sure about the '07) that there are two bolts, one on each side, that you remove the (9/16"?) nut off and lift it up.

Thats correct. Not sure on 2007, but my 2009 has a bolt on each side, which you can access by removing the seat tops next to it. Reach under there with your socket or wrench and just feel around for it. There is also a washer so dont lose that. The seat then just lifts right up through the holes. My suggestion would be to also replace the nuts with wingnuts next time so its easier to install/uninstall without tools. I think 9/16 as stated above is correct.

On our '07's, you have to remove the little cushion in the center of the seat to gain access to the bolts that hold it in from the sides, should be 1 on each side about right in the middle at the bottom. There is a carpet strip on the front of the middle that has "hidden in the carpet" screws in it (might only be 4) and you need to pull that off first. I think the bolts for the side are like 1/2". That will let you pull out that whole center section and then you can probably get to the bolts that hold the cushion on to the "bench".
