Nice choice. Those are great boats. I've said it before and I'll say it again, "Smart people end up with Tige's." If you do the research, there is only one logical conclusion, Tige.

Looks like all it needs is an FAE. Looking at the back of the boat, I would say measure very carefully and do it a couple of times. Your exhaust logs are coming out in very different locations. Not that it is a problem, most are a little off but, yours might be a little more off than usual. The more accurate your measurements, the better your FAE will fit. Of coarse it could just be an optical illusion.

That is going to be one nice little surf boat for you. Does that thing have any ballast?
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Man, that looks super clean. Congrats, and welcome to the site.

I love the almost-all-white interior -- and so will you if you're out on Havasu, Mohave, etc. on a 110+ day. Where do you plan on taking her out?

I think I have pylon envy.

Upon looking at that picture again, not an optical illusion. The clip on the right side of the mount plate is significant.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Now that I look a little close at the rest of the boat, thats a nice find. I thought that was the Phatt Budde tower but, that baby is a Sampson. Looks like it has perfect pass and heater too. Well done.

Thanks everyone for the great welcome! In an effort to answer some of the questions asked, I'll try to give a brief background on me.

I live in San Diego, CA, so locally there are not many options. Odds are, you'll see me at El Capitain most of the time. NO salt water for me! We also do an annual houseboat trip...this summer Lake Shasta is on the rotation. We've been to Powell 3 times and this will be our 3rd to Shasta. We'll also tent camp and have been all over CA, so long as it's on a lake. Been a boat renter for the past 6 years or so.

I'm certainly looking into a FAE. Up until this point, we've all been wakeboarders, but all really like the idea of surfing. The boat came with 2 fat sacks (non-plumbed), and I'd have to check the weight.

It's great, I feel like I have separation anxiety while I’m sitting here at work. Can’t wait to get home to cross another item off my ‘To Do’ list. I'll be checking this site regularly to get opinions on the best vinyl cleaner/care and gel coat care. I've already bookmarked several of the "How To / Fixes" threads.

                          Thanks again everyone!

As mentioned before, you have a Samson tower so when you need to replace those foam pads on the top give them a call. Those pads will leave black marks on your hands and board after a few years of sitting in the sun.

Thanks for the info Jake. I am actually planning on buying some board racks for the tower. I'm not sold on the integrated ones. Can I only pick those up from Samson? Or will most racks fit? I know this tower is a couple years old, but it looks just like the 'Edge' on the Samson website. I'm looking at the Fusion or Cannon racks. Will probably need a pair of them.
