yes, i Live in Lubbock and have been going to Alan Henry for 15 years probably. Actually going out tomorrow for the second time this year. Absolutely a great lake has some great channels that give smooth water, but big enough for a pretty good crowd. and i hate to say this but if anyone you take is into fishing then its one of the best fishing lakes in Texas or most anywhere around. But im too much of an adrenaline junkie for fishing.

Some advice for the public boat ramp would be either 4x4 or make certain you have some extra weight over the axle for traction, the public ramp is getting worn and isnt providing great traction for anyone.

        Any questions in particular??

I could sit on that ramp and watch the things that happen all day long! Better than watching most sports!!

I think i saw you out there last summer, I bought the red and white rz4 from family powersports and blew my impellar first time out from starting out of water. I was at that little store and i think you gave me the number to the local mechanic over labor day. anyways no real questions just wanting to meet people around lubbock, would be nice to have more boats/people out when i go. I think i finally mastered that public ramp though, pretty much just dont peel out and im out of there.

Yep that was me, i remember now. I take it you got everything fixed? I actually stopped by and talked to john yesterday. and congrats on mastering that ramp, as it was mentioned sometimes its really funny to sit there and just watch some of the stuff that people do!! I used to enjoy it a lot but now we are members of the private ramp so i dont get quite as much spectator time at the public ramp.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It's just that yours is stupid.

Well if you ever come this way look for me, im out there most every weekend. My other hobby is that my brother and i raise rodeo bucking bulls so we take them to buck for the major events but other than that we are boating every chance we get.

Tige actually has really good representation at Alan Henry, the dealer here went out of business but that is definitely not Tige's fault he made some poor business decisions IMO. I would love to see a new Tige dealer in Lubbock or pretty close. The nearest dealer is now in Brownwood which is 5 hours i believe, the factory is closer but they wont really work with private owners only dealers.
