I have the wake/wake racks on my alpha z tower right now, but want to be able to carry along a surf board as well to do some wakesurfing....do i NEED to get new forks, or will/can I fit a surf board into the space normally for a wakeboard?

depends on the type of wakesurf board you have.
The CWB Tsunami is a skim style will fit, but you will have to add some longer bungee cords to hold it in place.
The thicker more traditional style surf board will not fit however wakesurfboards are typically shorter than a traditional surfboard and will fit in the portside v locker. the samson replacement racks that have a wakesurf fork are about 600.00 a piece I think.
I have been trying to come up with a cheaper option (ie. utilizing a sky tower rack on the lower ski pylon) but so far have not come up with another option. Tige does offer a re-inforced bimini that will hold a wakesurf board but they are pretty priceyComment
