Removable speaker mounts for Alpha Z?

Are there removable speaker mounts available for the Alpha Z tower? The more I think about things and our new boat, I start to get nervous about other peoples greed and ill intentions.

          carcrz,

do you currently have the wet sounds factory tower speakers installed on your alpha z tower?

The factory installed speakers are a time consuming process to remove as they have to remove the drivers and un bolt the housings and cut the wires and so on. We have no seen these get stolen very often. I heard of the amps getting stolen and the tower speakers left on the tower becuase they are so hard to remove. So that is a good thing if you have those.

Also, I will post up some exciting new product info soon. So there will be a ton of options for you

            carcrz -

If protecting your tower speaker investment is a concern, nothing beats the quick disconnect system that is found on the Exile/Samson speakers. I realize those are sometimes fighting words, and I don't mean it to be. This is the patented part of our speaker design.

Other manufacturers will claim quick disconnect but its more of a marketing term. Our design allows for 360 degree rotation on your tower while playing music. To do this you simply rotate a thumb screw. It's a matter of seconds. We supply a custom tool if you opt to lock down the speakers in a more permanent setting. The speakers also come with sox that double as storage covers with handles.

For security reasons we always advocate taking the speakers off the tower. Why leave a steak in front of a dog if you don't have to? If you need more information, take a look at our website. There's a few install video's on there. Shoot me a pm if you have any questions.

Am I missing something, or is that an entirely different speaker? Is there a spot to mount Exile or Samson speakers on an Alpha Z tower?

You're missing something Tall, the Samson/Exile speakers (same thing) have been out for the Alpha Z for at least a year and they swivel and have a quick disconnect. They mount right in the factory locations too.

That is very sweet. Thanks Timmy for the correction. Just looked at them on the Exile and Samson websites. Lots of great options for Tige owners.

Thanks for the info. Just paranoid I guess. I don't really think I'll ever have a problem, but I guess it'd be added security through the winter months when she's all alone

I was confused as well. I didn't see anything on their sites showing an Alpha Z tower.

I went wih 2 pair of the Sampson's. They are really easy to pop on and off for towing and storage and sound great just my 2 for what it worth.
