Well we had some warm temps today and made our inaugural trip out for the 2011 season. The day started off in the low 70"s but by the time we got around to getting to the water in was in the low 60's. The water temp was 57 deg, no too bad, "warmer than I expected." My oldest son rode for a while (wet suit of corse) first time out for the season and his first trip across the wake was a tantrum; "nothing like warming up and getting back into it slowly!" Our dogs were so relieved, they have been impatiently waiting all winter to get back out on the boat. I think they enjoyed it the most. We were the only boat out there, that part was nice; I didn't have to dodge any Wally's....

Who else has made a trip out this year?

I hope the freezing temps are gone, I don't want to have to drain the water out of the engine again.

Yes I actually did buy the boat from Brad and Danny at Skiboats Unltd and NAMG. Skiboats & NAMG partnered up for a while, I ordered the boat with Stuart Pumpelly @ NAMG (Woodbridge, VA) and the sale went through Skiboats. I'm pretty close with Brad and the gang over there.

I'll try to hook up with you when we go to Anna this summer.
