Holy smokes on those boats! I love my new rzr but those prices on those new rz2's are really good. Also if you can get that 09 that you are talking about for anything in the 40's your getting a good deal.

Markets vary. How many RZ2's are for sale in your area? That helps to figure out how much it will go for as does how good of shape it's in, the options, the trailer, etc. My dealer just sold an '08 in the $52k range.

In looking around I think you may find that the prices vary from area to area.

It depends on if you are a seller or buyer. If I am selling, NADA does not include a trailer...if I am buying, it does.

Specialty items will not get you crap as a seller, they will just help it to sell more easily. Unless you have a buyer that sees your boat and has to have those items and thinks he is unable to get them aftermarket. And those folks are rare. The average boat buyer is not an internet junkie searching Tige Owners for advice.

For fun, I calculated NADA for my area: Low retail for 54K fully loaded. Average retail 61K.

The other buzzword you will get as a seller is "in this economy"...so very few people are going to think average retail is actually the average retail selling price.
          Be excellent to one another.

You know nothing about our boat market.. Up here. new RZ2 sell for 90-100k everything costs more in canada... New and used.

A 2008 RZ2 with 240 hours just sold for high 50's .... So im not worried about being over priced.

Tall tends to be an aggressive buyer and gives his opinions on what HE would pay for boats from past threads that I have seen which sometimes have no bearing on what they will actually sell for in the real world. It's as simple as supply and demand, if demand is high and supply is low in your market, the boats sell for more. In the Denver area, our boats sell for at least $5k if not $8k more than other places because we are a landlocked state that has very few boats (and water too). Right now there aren't any used RZ2's in the Denver area so you can get a premium price as a seller of a used one because even at $51k for a 2008, you are still $20k less than a new one!

Not many, but Texas isn't too far away, so there's plenty there.

I got an incredible quote for a brand new one. It just so hard to spend more than what we budgeted for.

                            KS,

I am very sorry that my comments were so offensive. I apologize that it came across so strongly. Your explanation of how 68K makes sense in your market is reasonable. My sincerest apology.

As far as displaying a pattern here of arrogance, the only person I have contempt for here is Nobody and his useless jabber. If there are others who want to pile it on, I am happy to hear it and will try to improve.
