    NEED EDJUMUCATION

Nobody is back to his cantankerous ways, and since one of his favorite things to do to pi$$ people off is make jokes about power turns, I'll admit my ignorance on the subject and ask: what exactly is a power turn? Why are they bad? Can I assume it chops up the water?

When your rider goes down and you turn and give it more throttle to spin around fast makes huge waves across the lake and messes up the water for every one else.

I live near a smallish lake...1300 acres. 2 boats powerturning can successfully destroy the entire lake for everyone. However, you can easily run 8-9 boats on the same lake with very good water if everyone stuck to the principles outlined on the wakeworld page referenced above.

There is nothing more frustrating to get up at 530 am and have a few guys powerturning on the lake to pick up their downed riders and messing up the lake for everyone. It is mostly just ignorance. I did it too until I understood what it does to the water.
          Be excellent to one another.

It's not that you went anywhere, just that you seemed somewhat reformed for a while. And, I'm used to cantankerous, my father-in-law can get that way sometimes too.

I'm not all that much of an azz, put it is fun to get people stirred up.

As for being gone awhile...this is just life, work, and everything in between.

It seems that you do not understand a simple generally accepted truth: Having "fun" by stirring others up is the behavior of an azz.

It does not matter whether you are hurt or not by anyone's comments. However, it might help you if you are willing to learn from the reactions of others to your behaviors. Your choice of course.

Powerturns are certainly tubers dreams! Rivers do not seem to be affected nearly as much as lakes. We have powerturners all over the place and yet the water returns to decent conditions very quickly.
