    new rzr questions

Hey guys I'm new here and my family just purchased an rzr which should go into production this week. I had a few questions. What is the wake like? (Steep, mellow, long, short etc) and another off topic question, do you think it will fit on our current lift for 3600# boats I know they under rate them but is it safe? I'm coming off an old Malibu skiier but have ridden a 22i and various master crafts which I have not been a fan of but I found the 22i to have a nice steep poppy wake with good transition which I like. Any thoughts?

if you like the 22i,you'll love the rzr all the reviews are on wkkeboarding mag . com.at the tige website you can read other reviews also.a ski boat just doesn't put out the same wake as a wake boat.with taps 2 you can adjust the steepness of the wake.with ballast you can adjust height or ramp length. as for the weight i'll take a quick look and give you a close guess full of fuel and average amount of gear.
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.

yea itll be a tight fit. Just wondering though ive gotten used to friends x-stars, and x-25s but the wake is far too mellow for my taste, but man that 22-i was a good wake even without ballast

i've ridden behind the x-star and get over the tower height and land 6-8 feet in the flats on 75' rope length.the x-star will really boot you.to me it gets steeper quicker than the tige. i can get just as high off the tige wake but have a less abrupt arc.so i go further into the flats.i can clear a stock no weight tige wake at 95' rope length at 23mph.this is a very wide wake.but it's hard enough to get the boot you need for any trick when weighted.the boat won't hold you back if thats what your worried about.

must have been weighted differently than the one i rode, was a long tranny to a nice lip. im not worried about it holding me back rather trying to decide whether i wanted to to upgrade the hyperlite era, pretty damn aggresive, to a more mellow softer landing board. x-25 with a little rear extra rear weight will really boot ya, 22i was still the favorite wake ive ridden so far, above tower height and the boat had no ballast and i was loving that thing, PS this week is the last week i get to pick options, anything you cant live without?

If you haven't checked out the Tige ipad app yet, check it out. It has wake view pictures on it!

Welcome to Tige Owners. Where are you from?

i don't know anything about you other than you wakeboard.so tunes wise the pro 60's are good for long range sound if you get the tower of power.if you plan to get the pro 80's also you can save a little by getting the tower of power with pro 80's then an extra set of 60's for the tower.the 80 have better mid and low sound.you need the eidb package for the tower of power and ballast thats a must for wakeboarding.1600 lbs is the most you can get but it will be plenty for a 20 foot boat with a 94" beam.the freshwater strainer protects your cooling system.the carlotta steering wheel looks sweet, but not a necessity.the vision air seat is a must for driver comfort.additional pull up cleats you can add later but they are nice.the heater and walkthru windscreen would be great for those chilly new hampshire mornings.bimini top can be added later but makes it easier to do an all day outing.alpha z tower with board racks make it a one of a kind sweet ride.the tower camera isn't a necessity if you have someone to film you .then you can coach yourself.thats about it.other than a cover and the 48qt soft sided cooler thats the bomb. just load it up for all day and a 10lb bag of ice will last all day in it.

thanks for the input! sounds like we hit the nail on the head with the options then, currently rolling with surf system, twin pro 80s, pcm 343, all electric blue tower with matching racks and speakers, underwater lights vector graphic, opted against vision air (seemed like it would not hold up the 5< years we will likely have the boat) but we may add on, skipped on heater, and walk through currently not on but may change. we surf half the time and wakeboard half the time, skipped most cosmetic options aside from the tower, Had to outdo the neighbors x-25 too
strainer probably needs to go on... only boat in one lake though so no risk of transporting invasive seaweed/will never see zebra muscles

ps. is the vision air seat really that good/how has it held up over the years if you have had it before.

I would get the vision air seat for sure, the heater and the windscreen, My daughters favorite part of the boat is the pull out vent on the heater.

I would say the vision air seat is that good. I am only on year two with mine so I cant answer your other question. Someone said it was only a $200.00 option with the purchase but I have seen them go for over $1000 after the fact.

i love my vision air seat. it shows no wear after 426 hours of use on a 07 22ve.the heater and walkthru windscreen will bring the ladies out on a cool day.

interesting! thanks for the input guys its much appreciated. This boat is a huge step up for us and all the input ive gotten so far has been really helpful. Ill have to look further into the vision air seat as it is a sweet option, i still have a week or so to convince the parents to make chnages to options, im pretty sure the boat goes into production this week/next week so the dealer said we have some time. Any other advice would be much appreciated as most wake boat experience has been with mc's an bu's
