i just ordered a new rz2 also.it will be pacific blue and white with a white tower and board racks.the tower of power speakers,both pro 80's and pro 60's.i also got the heater,carlotta wheel,vision air seat,2000lb pro ballast,center bow cushion,digital transom remote,transom underwater light,tower camera,custom color bimini w/extension and shark eye bow lights.i deleated the pylon behind the rear seat as we don't use it.i will try and do a build thread once the pictures start coming in. i too love these build threads to see new boats and get ideas.

Just uncheck it from the build-sheet and it will disappear

J/K. Unbolt the pylon and and have the hole filled

RENSINK i told them before they started on mine.they said they drill a hole,then install pylon.your only option would be like chpthril said fill it after unbolting pylon.maybe a custom chrome plug that snaps in like a hubcap holds to a wheel.just a thought.good luck.

that's a excellent idea. maybe relay that to tige and they could offer it as an option for already built boats.

Due to some circumstances in my family, we were unable to complete our Tige RZ2 purchase. Tigecanuck and the team at Hyperactive were more concerned that we be happy with our purchase and have it work for our family, than bind us to the sale.

I can't say enough good things about Hyperactive in Calgary. I love that boat, but unless luck starts to go my way, I just won't be seeing it in my marina. Thanks for everything John, and you will always be tops in my book.

i deleated the pylon behind the rear seat as we don't use it.

One of the best things I ever did was eliminate the rear pylon from the build on our 09 RZ2. Never in the way, no injuries. Might be different if it was a retractable pylon, but no way did I want the fixed pylon.

You might NOT want to replace it with a cupholder. Our dealer raised the issue of resale -- some buyer might need that pylon and it would be a deal killer. Never having been drilled, it can easily be added. With a cup holder there, maybe not so easy.

And yes, I tow tubes from the AlphaZ tower in the absence of the pylon ;-)

I wish I could say it was a good reason, but my "better half" just out and nixed the deal after the boat was built. She did it for personal reasons that I'm afraid only she will ever truly understand.
