Looking to Rent Room and Ride in Florida

My brother is planning on heading down to FLA on the 19th of Feb. He is having trouble finding a room to rent and people to ride with. He has been saving for this two month adventure for a while now and things are not coming together as he had hoped.

Any locals have any leads or contacts for rooms to rent (preferably near or on water) and people he can ride with. Dont worry he will pay for gas. He does not have a truck so he can not bring my boat down.

He is looking at spending 2 months in florida for the sole purpose of wakeboarding and to improve his skills.

If anyone has any leads, wants a room mate or wants to ride lots and have someone pay for gas, Let us know.

there is another site called wakeworld.they have a section called find a third.that would reach alot more wakeboarders.this site has a mix of everything.wakeworld has many people in the orlando to tampa area that wakeboard.i would try that also. good luck

He has been looking around Clermont Orlando area but will look elsewhere if things work out. Like I said, he just wants to come down get to know the scene, improve his boarding and see where things go from there.

So if there is opportunity for a place to stay and people to ride with, he will be all over it.

So if you know of something, greatly appreciated.

He is a stand up kid. Currently working with kids with learning disabilities and troubled homes.

I just talked to Nick and he said not picky where he stays in relation to Orlando area. Tampa Area is fine. WHere ever there is a cable park, and lake is cool with him.

Tampa has quite a few lakes and of course McCormicks. Maybe put an add in Craigslist or something like that. IM Dom he might be able to help you he knows lots of people with boats in the area because he keeps them all running and sells them!
