I will help you out...Here's an '08 RZ2 for $52,900 at WWS in Denver and it is beautiful! I am not affiliated with the dealer and it's not my boat but I have seen it in person and it is very, very nice! It has a great trailer, Wetsounds speakers, etc. I know it's not the new tower but it's still a nice boat!

I know Houston is a bit far from Denver but the folks at WWS are really great to work with and they stand behind the stuff that they sell. Ask for Bill or Nick if you call. Boats in the Denver area are also a little cleaner IMO than some other states because they don't have water sitting around in the bilge due to our low humidity and they tend to have low hours due to the small amount of water we have to boat on.

If it has speed control, tower, built in ballast, board racks as stated on the add, that is a pretty good deal, and I like the graphics too:

i would advise u to choose RZ2 large enough to manage the wake size in future and more roomy

            Call Tim White

If I were you...I'd call Tim White with wetsounds and ask him if he's selling his RZ2. I'll bet you he'll take $60 with trailer and about $12K is stereo stuff.

I bought Tim's previous boat 2008 RZ4 for the money you have budgeted. It came with godzilla amounts of upgrades, the best sound system in the world, and a killer trailer.

Just remember that sales tax will make you really mad when they ask you for $4500.00 with a big smile.

If you are truly a HoustonShark... TexasTige' (in Conroe) is having an on the water boat show today and tomorrow. They have a sweet used RZ4 for sale at an incredible price.

You can write off your sales tax on a boat purchase so it is not really that bad in the long run
If its not fun, Why do it?

I believe the saying goes "Buy your second boat first." Go for a gently used low hr the RZ2. Unless you have money to burn of course and then get what you want.

Ha! That's a good one and the more I think about it the more it makes sense. I have been working with Steve at Texas Tige to nail down all the options on a new RZR. I've looked for a RZ2 for almost 8 months now and there just really aren't many '09-'10 out there and certainly none that I have seen less than $60K.

I hope the RZR will give us enough room to last at least 5 years or more. I don't see us having 10 people on the boat ever. At the most I could see myself, my wife, 2 small boys and 2 more adults.

sounds like the rzr is plenty big enough for 6 people.i hear it has a awesome wake also.good luck.

Unless your thinking of using the boat for entertaining people and having more than 10 adults with you. Your 4 adults and 2 kids are going to have lots of room. Make sure to opt for the bigger of the motors and the 1600lb. surf ballast. This boat produces an awesome surf wake, and if you don't use the extra ballast wieght. The surf ballast bags stay folded up and out of the way.
