I am looking at the above boat as an upgrade to my current 2003 moomba mobius lsv. Wouldn't mind hearing some opinions from the experts on this model year if there are any known problems to occur that I should look out for such as poor vinyl. I am also curious about the engine, it comes with a 5.7l GM Vortec 340HP. As best I can tell, this is a complete different engine than anyone else uses, it is not an Indmar, PCM, or Mercruiser. Who marinizes these engines, do they have any known issues? Who services them? And lastly and most importantly, hows the wake? It doesnt come with ballast, but I will be loading it up heavily with manual ballast. I will be using this boat to tow anywhere from beginners, to semi pro riders. I prefer a vertical wake that is rounded not peaky, but hard as a rock like the new 2007 and up nautiques 210 throw, is this boat capable?

yes it's capable.it has a marine power engine.i have 425 trouble free hours on mine. just change the oil every 50 hours and the impeller once a year if you do more than 150 hours.the wake is awesome.to make it steep set the taps at 8 if thats too steep adjust to lower number.pro level ballast is 800 lbs up front and 1200 in the rear. i don't have factory ballast so i put 400 lb bag in each rear locker a 540 lb bag on the rear seat and a 750 lb bag in the bow w/center cushion under it.if thats wake isnt big enough just add more.but that should do the job.i have ridden behind a sante and wake is comparable only tige wake is wider.it is very similar to a malibu wake.supra is steeper,i rode behind a worlds edition fully weighted.and a sacked out x-star that wake is wide but boots you to the sky.so the tige competes very well and by far uses the least fuel of all the above.good luckI do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.
