    Wetsounds Question

I currently have the threesome. It is too heavy to raise and lower with all three. Which would you remove, the 485 or the pro 80s. Or should I just get in the dang weight room!

The threesome really isnt too heavy (makes it a 2 person job), but it leaves no room to grab the tower to lower it. Since it is in the way, I have to use the middle crossbar which requires a step ladder and bad leverage.

try an old ski rope loop it around your tower. then run the other end through the front tie down loop for the trailer hook.that should make it a one man job. p.s. no weight room required

Take the 485 off and give it to me! Or you could put a price on it and maybe we can make a deal. Oh is it black or white?

More info. I have amps. 1-4 channel and 1 2-channel. Currently the sub and the 485 are bridged on the 4 channel, and the pro 80s are on the 2 channel. My options are to keep the 485 and the sub on the 4 channel and do away with the pro 80s, leaving the 2 channel with nothing. Or do away with the 485, and move the pro 80s to the 4 channel bridged, and move the sub to the 2 channel bridged. I really wish that wetsounds had a quick release bracked for their speakers!

Keep your setup intact and get a pair of the TC2 quick-release clamps for the Pro485.

Contact your local Wet Sounds dealer or Tige direct and they will give you all the info.

didnt know that they had the quick release feature. That would solve a ton of problems.

The PRO 485 and the PRO 80's have Always been quick release. Even the older versions. You wont need the new TC-2 clamps. You either have the older 485 with the TC-1 clamps or you have the newer ones with TC-2 clamps unless you have a set the dealer put the fixed pro 60 style clamps on. Seen it happen sometimes.

If they are the TC-1, they would have a stainless steel U bracket that is bolted to the speaker. This slides in and mates to the clamp and is held on by 2 lug nuts per clamp. You would take off the lug nuts and it would slide off. It is about a 30 sec to 1 minute job. If they are a TC-2. There is a cog plate on top that mates into the clamp. You remove the 2 allen bolts from the side of each clamp and the speaker slides off. Takes a little longer since the bolts are on the side and not as easy to get to as the lugs on the TC-1.

Attach a pic and I will tell you which clamps you have
