    Colorado Tige Owners

My son and I drove down south looking for new lakes today. Has anyone been to John Martin or Lake Meridith? John Martin doesn't look like there is as much water as there used to be, unless there use a lot in the fall for irrigation. Lake Meridith looked nice minus the big feed lot, summer heat could cause for a nice oder. I don't know if I liked the idea of a sand boat ramp.

Any suggestions beside private lakes? I have been to Pueblo and Cherry Creek. I know of Chattfield just haven't been there. Any lakes would be great but closer to the south side of Denver preferred. My brother keeps telling me to drive west about 9 hours, so I can boat with him.

I usually hit Chatfield in the evenings during the week or very early in the morning on weekends. I have also gone to Horsetooth a few times the 2 hour drive is kind of a drawback for a day trip.

I have heard that McConaughy is good but can be windy but doesn't stick around. Those that own up there hope that is a little windy so people think it is bad and leave.

            Wicked,

I saw your boat, covered, at Paul's the other day. I had to get a pole for my bow cover.

It looked good from where I was at. I didn't want to get to close and have them think I was either weird or a creep. Umentioned the snap out carpet, are you having them replace all of the carpet with snap out? If so what is the appoximate cost? You can PM me if you would rather.

Yah the front already has it. Doing the back area and only $280 killer deal :-) the cover was 1300 tho

That is a good price. Does the carpet match the front section? It would be nice to pull it out to let it dry or to clean it. Post some pic when you get it back.
