Skis in a wakeboard rack???

Guys, the boat I just bought has 3 wakeboard racks and a ski rack. I need 2 ski racks (2 slaloms & a pair for the kids), and I don't need to carry 6 wakeboards. Can I just stick a pair of skis in one of the wakeboard racks? Or do I need to remove one and add another ski rack?

Boat is currently at the shop getting new vinyl so I can't test this out.

You might be able to just change the 'forks'. A buddy of mine has a ski and it does not fit in the wakeboard rack.

It depends on the ski. In my experience, that part that bolts the binding to the ski will not fit in the wakeboard fork, at least not all the way.

I suspect that they won't fit b/c the forks are not wide enough apart and so the bindings will hit the forks. I guess I just need to try it.

I have a Menace Ski rack and love it, thing is solid and has a sharp look!

Man that thing is sharp! Issue is that I already have a Monster ski rack mounted, so if I add one like your's it would make the Monster rack look inadequate! And I am not willing to buy 2 of those Menace racks, as I am sure they are not cheap.

On my wakeboard rack, the forks are wide enough to fit around the binding fr the back foot, it is just that it won't slide all the way in. We don't use it that way unless we absolutely have to.
