Winter in Atl

Well its a wonderful snow day and the kids are happy. 5-6 inches showed and gonna stay cold. I know lots of folks on this website r in the cold north but this aint supposed to happen here. Ace Hardware sold 600 sleds yesterday. supposed to be cold for another 1-2 days too. Jake is on the right with buddy.

Great pics, J, we are right there with you. We are at about 5+ inches and it's still coming down. Doesnt look like it will be above freezing till this Sat.

We got about 4 inches here at Smith Lake AL, this is the most since 1996, our last big snow.Hi Jim will anybody be able to get to the Atl boat show this weekend?

Hey There Robert:

Folks will be able to get to the boat show - gonna be 50 on Saturday. Its getting a little better each day. Sunny today but stayed cold so road improvements were slow but steady. School is off again for thurs and thats a good call since still patches of ice abound and the buses would be in trouble real quick. Thurs supposed to be 40 and sunny and that will help alot. We are currently not planning to hit the show but have a good time.

Tige is suppose to have boats on display not sure which ones.We aren't going this year,it is just a pain to park and walk into the new expo. We drove up to the Nashville show last week to check out the competition,you can park across the street and walk into the Nashville convention center.
