In Canada I use Premier Marine, and I think I pay $481 for 40K on our boat, 1 mil liability $500 deductable... but no medical coverage.
Best policy IMO. I've had 2 no fault claims and my premium did not go up. A tree fell in a malibu, and a windshield just exploded and shattered one dayLast edited by Dave K; 01-11-2011, 08:59 PM.Life is good...

State Farm dropped my boat coverage just recently cause of my DRIVING RECORD .... WTF???
No wrecks, no claims, just 3 or 4 speeding tickets. Yet somehow my customer rating is their top star rating on my vehicle policy.
I have 6 houses with them (builders risk and liability policies), my personal house, and 2 cars with them. Yet they drop my boat. Don't know WTF is going on there.Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

Did you post any compromising pics on the net? FB? Twitter? Credit score take a hit lately? They look at a lot of things about you sometimes. Please keep us posted on their reason for dropping coverage.2009 RZ2, PCM 343, MLA Surf Ballast, Premium Sound.

Thanks for all the input Tige fans...I ended up with progressive through USAA saving about 180.00 vs Allstate for the same coverage. Turns out explanation was they have a "area risk/rate change" which is pretty weird as we only boat 5-6 month out of the year here..maybe the cold/snow affects it eh?! Oh well - Thanks again for all the info! Think Spring!!Zeb

I have my home and auto insurance with AARP through The Hartford. We have two teenage drivers and three cars on our policy so rates aren’t worth comparing. They both go off to university next year so hopefully we can look forward to good rates again

Credit is fine.
Like I said....the reason they gave me was my driving record...lol.Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.
