Thanks very much for your time and effort on this. I am sorry it didn't work out for all of us.

On the note of color though, sounds like you guys recommend the grey color for performance issues? Does it have residue issues as well but just isn't as noticeable as the black? With my stock hard Tige E stuff..whatever it is called I didn't notice a residue but then maybe I didn't know what I was looking at. I would really like some opinions from you that have this stuff. I had been thinking of doing this anyway and would like to make a good decision on this.

I love mine. No residue issues at all.

Mine is exactly the same as above. My Ve has the transom walk-through and the old pad would really show the residue and the seadek doesn't track anything.

It really is a night and day upgrade over the little e's!

We kept seeing black foot prints on the transom walk thru. I just figured our feet were dirty from walking around bare foot at the boat ramp, and then once wet it was getting on the walk thru. but since I was still seeing it after we had been boarding and swimming, I determined it was coming from the swim pad. Had me baffled for a while, and I can tell you the kids are happy I figured it out since I kept getting on them thinking they weren't paying attention to where or what they were stepping in around the ramp.

Wow, that looks really nice! I guess it is gray then for us. Thanks very much to all of you. We will be looking forward to seasons with a nice cushion on our platform!

Kevin let me know how it turns out would not mind doing that to my deck. I keep the teak pretty but often slippery!!!

Ok forgive me for being stupid if this is but I had a crazy thought and wanted to see what others thought.

If seadek is good for the swim platform for comfort and durability and you can obvisouly get it wet and it dries out, then would it be a bad idea to put in in the interior of the boat in place of carpet? Seems like it would be nice and soft to walk on, not slippery, washable for spills, and durable. Get it in a light color so it doesn't heat up.

Bad Idea, Completely Crazy or what? Would have to get it in sheets to keep the cost down I would think.

Ok, I put it out there, don't laugh your *** off too much and let me know.

I could be wrong, but I think that Epic wakeboats come with SeaDek material in place of carpet. If true, I think that shows it to be feasible. Call SeaDek and ask them.

But is it a good idea or do people prefer carpeting? I am trying to find a downside here aside from cost. Seems like it would be much better then carpet as it wouldn't hold the smells and stains.

IMPO, it would be much better than carpet. I think Dingle is right that Epic Boats uses it.

Just don't set bottles of water on it.

Well it don't look like it's going to happen this off season. I spent all my boat money on some stero stuff. I contacted seadek today and I am looking at atleast 250 for the pad and I really don't know what it cost to have it rhino lined but I guess a Hundred or so...that be said it's going to have to wait. I really thought this was top of things to do this off season but when it came time to spend I really wanted a new head unit so I could run an iPod. So got a new cmd6 2 new remotes cables and what not it added up quick.

Don't know if I like the design of that specific epic as far as the floor but it is good to know it's been done. I think I will atleast take some measurements and see what it would cost to do the interior. Probably not on the list of things for this season but definetly something to think about if the carpet gets smelling bad or stained too much. I really like the idea of being able to wash it down and it would dry fast and feel great on the feet.

Thanks for your imput you guys. I really appreciate your opinions.

You could get it in the faux wood look for the floor, that would look pretty nice.
