I am sorry, if this is chapping you or making it difficult. Not my intention. I just over looked the color issue. I wasn't thinking, instead I made an assumption everyone lived in my world and would want black. Opps!
Seadek doesnt reccomend black. When in the sun your feet will track a black residue into your boat.

I was wondering why they don't show any black over other colors on their web site, I guess this would explain why. Plus that is one of the reasons I want to get away from the factory pad anyway. I'm tired of the residue transfer on to the seats. And of course the fact that the factory pad is not very skin friendly unless of course you are into pain

I am good with grey over black but must have it 1 piece.
I would also like the Tige logo to cover most of the platform.
Sorta like this but the word tige facing the other way..making sense I hope I cant figure out why I cant get it save it the other way.

Yup, my knees just just got the last "e" divet smoothed back to normal.

Quick question, with this group buy are they going with the factory logos, such as rz2 for my boat and ve for other boats or will they all have the same logo such as a generic Tige or something like that. Either way I'm still in, just trying to clarify.

I believe they will have the Tige logo in the upper right hand corner. I can see if they have any other pre designed templates with an RZ or VE logo. I know it is possible to have anything you want custom made, but I doubt they would allow it in a group buy. In last years buy I know they would let you order any template they had available, and would actually create a template for someone if it wasn't already available. This time around I was told they would all have to be exactly the same, but I'm hoping they relax that when I talk to them this week. If not, I guess we'll be on our own and at regular price. Below is the actual response I received when I inquired about it.

            Hello Glenn,
Thank you for the interest in our product.

We currently are not offering group buys. If you were to have at least 8 people interested in the same model and same color combo I will work with you, if you can do this and have a spreadsheet with all the names and email addresses sent over I will give you guys a 15% discount and for your troubles of organizing it. The pads will not be made till all members have called in with credit card info thus us gaining the efficiency's to make it worth while to offer a discount.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you.

That's too bad. Last year that let us do just about anything. I don't think anyone went with anything crazy though.

Well now that I see that I guess were done. We are not going to have everybody with the same model. Thanks for trying!

Like I said I don't care about the logo, but from that email it sounds like they won't cut a deal for different model boats as well. If we can still get the deal with Ve, RZ and Z1 shapes, I'm still in. If not, are there 7 other RZ owners who want to upgrade or replace your pads?

So am I understanding this correctly, that if I have the only 22v and others have something different then this isn't going to work? I don't think the RZ2 or Z1 or VE are the same as the V right? So that means I have a different model then the rest of everyone. If this is true, then I don't think that works for me cause I don't think puting on a pad that doesn't fit will work for me - call me crazy. But if it is just the logo, as long as it is just a standard TIGE logo, that would be great. But again if it's model specific, then I don't think having a RZ2 logo on the 22v is going to cut it either.

Am I understanding this correctly guys? I hope I have it all wrong. Are there 7 other 22v owners out there wanting to do this?

I am with embo. We have 22v and can not use a RZ style pad at all. So if this is the case I am out.

The original e-mail I received back from the manufacture last Friday stated that they would do a deal for 8 of the same pads, meaning 8 to fit an RZ or 8 to Fit a 22v. I am trying to get them to relax this stipulation and let us order 8 of any combination. That way if some people require an RZ and others require a VE and a few more need one for a regular V or Z1 model, we can still get the deal. As far as the logo goes, all of the pads I have seen come with a small "Tige" in the upper right corner irregardless of the boat model. I probably should have just waited to start a thread on this until I had a concrete answer from SeaDek, but I was wanting to see how much interest was out there. If they stick to their guns on the stipulation, then it would take 8 of the exact size pads, and as of now I haven't heard from 8 total people, so it may be a dead issue anyway. As soon as I hear anything else I'll post back up.

Sounds great. I will measure as I said I would and get back to you for sure. I hope it turns out we can have different models. That would be nice. And having just the TIGE in the upper right corner is kinda classy I think to be honest. Anyway, thanks for your work with this issue.

Well guys, it doesn't look like it's going to happen. Here is the reply from SeaDek.

                              Hello Glenn,
1 pattern, 1 color combo for discount. This is the only way we get any efficiencies enabling us to give an discount. Thank you.

I ended up with 8 total people including myself, but of course we all don't have the same swim deck. It broke down like this 2-RZ2's, 2-22VE's, 3-22V's and 1-Z1. As ajholt7 posted earlier, they were much more flexible last year. I guess it was worth a try though. Glenn
