    Which hull?

Hey guys, I am in the market and I am looking at a couple of tige's and wanted to get your feedback. the first boat is a 21i it's a 2003 with 130 hours, the boat is really clean, the second is a 2002 22i with 450 hours. We are mostly wake boarders and are concerned about the quality of wake behind a dd, in your experience how is the boarding wake on these boats? Neither boat currently has ballast. My other question is which hull is on the 2002? There seems to be some confusion on when the hulls changed, I would want the new v hull on the 2002. Do you think going a year older is worth it for the extra foot and seating of the 02? Thanks

Interesting query. I have never ridden either boat (my 22i is the old version) so I can't honestly comment on wake performance of the newer style hull. Although, the 22i was designed to be a DD wakeboat. The 21i is much more of a versatility machine. That being said, with the proper weight set up, both of these boats will perform quite well given their obvious limitations.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Then I would not get a direct drive boat. Is there a reason you don't mention a V-drive?

There are currently no v drives in my area and I am getting the itch to buy now. But you are probably right about a v drive being optimal for me.

Put out a rough estimate on how much you are willing to pay and how far you are willing to travel and someone on this site probably knows a good boat that would fit the bill.

          Where are you located?
