That is actually very helpful. Many of them will not do that. It is either charge it, or use it, not both.
      Be excellent to one another.

Not yet. I just got it last night. My other one I purchased from West Marine is dead. The batteries is what gives out. It is usually cheaper to replace the whole thing than just the rechargeable battery. I'll open it up and see. You can read some of the product reviews from Amazon buyers. It has a 30 day satisfaction full refund and a 1 year warranty (probably limited?). At least that is what the package says.

I do think they are a must for boaters though. I wouldn't be without one at Lake Powell. This one should be good because i ca charge it on the houseboat using AC and also use it in the boat with the DC cord. Like Tall said, it is a good feature if it works while charging off the DC.

I own this light and it works great... At $20.00 bucks it is worth it.

              Just as a FYI.

I sent my wife to Wal-Mart to get me one of these. It was priced at $30 and there was no way they were going to come down in price to the $20, even with a print out of this thread. Guess what it rang up for, $20. Seems like a good deal, you may want to get a price check to confirm the price. Thanks for the info TeamAllen.

No kidding, Wally-World wont even price match their own online price, even when the item is available for online purchase and pickup int he store

That is classic! I'm glad to see it worked out for you. I wasn't sure if the price was at other Wal-Marts also? Thanks for confirming. I took mine up to one of those price scanners first, just to make sure some Wally didn't put up the wrong sign or something.

Got one. It looks like at my local Wal-mart, $20 is the normal price. Can't wait to try it out.
