When you come to coeur d'Alene shoot me a PM, I live 20 min from the lake.
I certainly will do that. What is the best time of year to be up there? I actually think spring shows up earlier in that area than it does where I live.

Congrats... When you have the time and the boat is out of storage, post some pictures. We like pictures of Tige's on this site.

No excuse. A crappy pic is better than no pic!

I just moved here but I was here in the first week in June and the air temp was 70 and the water temp in Lake Coeur d'Alene was 55. I would suggest mid July but another TO here WABoating has been living here much longer.

I have a 2008 Z1, sac it out! It makes a world of a difference. I went 1st season without and installed an automated system and I throw manual sacs on top of that.

Congrats to the new TO!! All the comments about pics are true. Wade through the snow and get some pics on here!

Sounds like there a quite a few TO's in the Spokane area...need to get a get-together going for the summer! We have some friends that will probably be going near the end of July or early august.

Welcome to the club. Besides the fun you'll have driving and riding/surfing behind it, there is something even more sublime and awesome you'll experience. There will be a time, on a perfect day, when it's just the 5 of you, or when your kids have their pals onboard and everyone is having the time of their lives, you will make eye contact with your wife and both of you will have the secret silent unspoken thought that this was the best family purchase you have ever made.

Congrats on having that in your future!

Sounds good, are your friends coming to Coeur d'Alene or Portland? Either way a get together somewhere in eastern or central WA is in order.

We would be coming from Portland and going to Coeur d'Alene. We missed out on it this last year but they rent a place on the lake and then we all pile in. Dates aren't a sure thing yet but we already had one couple asking if we would go in together and get a place with them. So, things change but it is a trip we are keeping on the burner simmering for now and hope to bring to a boil at the end of July. We are the only TO's but are hoping for more in the future....heck more of any just so there's a lot of fun and good family fun. I hope as the summer comes into view and things get cooking, there will be several threads here on the site for gatherings. Hopefully early announcements so there is time to get the time off from work.

Just seems like there are quite a few TOs out this way and it would be great to have a nice large group get together closer to the west coast. Powell sounds great but it is a trek for some. I would love to go to powell some time for sure!!!

embo- I hate to jack a thread up and maybe we should start a thread about this elsewhere. I would be into a get together if the time was right. I think right now I would not be able to do the last weekend in July because that is the NWWSA surf contest up here in Seattle. I do a trip every year to the Columbia just below Lake Chelan. The water never gets out of the 60's but I have had good luck with smooth water. I have never had a good experience in Coeur d' Alene! We did rent a place on Hayden lake in Idaho that was cool. Either way I will still plan to catch up with you on one of my weekly trips to Eugene when the weather gets nice (I would even haul my boat down).
