    1997 pre 2100 prebuy advice

I am looking at a 1997 pre 2100 that is for sale. The boat looks to be in good shape and recently had 307 replaced. How is it as a ski and wakeboarding boat? I wondered how the 307 marine vortec compares in pulling and top end to a 350. Any advice would be appreciated. Will be used as a family cross boat to teach my daughter to ski and restart skiing for me. Thanks for all input good or bad!

Sorry, I know nothing about that boat year or model. Nothing at all. I hope some people pipe up though to help you out. Good Luck.

The wake flattens out good on that boat. Should be a great rec. skier for you and family. It will serve as a good wakeboarding teacher boat, but it is very hard to weigh down that boat for a taller wake. I'm not aware of the 307 cu in. I'm pretty sure the boats that came thru our shop were 350's.

The 307 should be fine. If you need a better hole shoot, you can reprop.

I own the a 1998 2100wt and use it for skiing. My friend and skiing partner has a 1999 Mastercraft Prostar 190. The Mastercraft definetly has a flatter wake. I'm pleased with the boat overall mine has the the 350 with 315HP.
