    The Rail that one

My son is back on the water for the first time yesterday. He tryed to do a flip on a rail transfer in late sept. He ended up breaking he ankle in 5 places. After 2 surguries, 2 plate, and 9 screws he is now 80%. Thank to the great doctors at Medical College of Georgia for the quick recovery. Unfortunately he won't win a sexy foot contest.

Ouch! I have always wondered what would happen if someone fell on a rail.
If its not fun, Why do it?

Good to hear he's having successful recovery! Take advantage of the winter and take it easy on that ankle.

I have never heard of anyone doing a flip on a rail...I guess now I know why.

Glad to hear he is back in action and hopes he gets back 100 percent.
            Be excellent to one another.

Knowing you, I'm betting that you and Todd will be trying it soon. I would suggest that you let Todd try it first and then you can take him to his brother to fix his broken ankle.

                          Had to join in...

Me and the nurse after my head was stitched up, morphine is good stuff (as you can tell by the look in my eye).

                          14 stitches
                          concussion
                          black eye
                          bruised ribs
                          inflamed kidney (that hurt)
                          sprained anckle

The last backroll I have tried...I have no clue what happend. Woke up face first in the water. They said I was a long way up, something went sideways, cased the wake and did the "atomic" scorpion. Landed a few backrolls that day, thought I had it figured out...apparently not quite.

Oh well, maybe I will try again next year

Glad to see everyone is healing up!!

LOL, I know they are crazy but I think they see enough things like this to know when crazy turns stupid.
