    Tige donates even more

It was posted previously that Tige offered an R20 boat for auction in WakeWorld's Toys-for-Tots fundraiser. They offered it at a very low reserve price, with everything above that price to be donated to the cause. Alas, the bidding never took off much, and the selling price was not much over the reserve.

Now, Tige has offered to donate an additional $1500 to Toys-for-Tots! Way to go, Tige!

Tige continues to prove themselves the best company in the marine industry that it's been my pleasure to know. It's nice to be able to recommend a comapny, and its products, without reservation.

As a follow-on to my earlier comment:

I'm going to add a dedicated tube tow ring to my transom next Spring. The only problem with doing so is that I'll probably have to remove (and in the process, destroy) the nice, big Tige chrome logo because that's the only decent place to put the ring. And I like having that Tige logo there because the brand deserves as much exposure as it can get. That's a big statement of my opinion about Tige, considering that I absolutely refuse to have any sort of stickers or license plate frames on my land vehicles.

Keep doing what you're doing, Tige!

If you have a grab handle above your swim platform you should be able to have a machine shop make you a Tow point / Grab handle out of SS and use the existing holes and reinforce the backing on the interior of the transom, and not mess with your Tige Logo

Hmm, that's an interesting idea. I have seen an integrated handle/tow ring somewhere but never thought about having a custom one made. I need to dig up a photo so I have something for a shop to quote on.

                Thanks, it's a great idea!

User "lwndr" forwarded me a reference to this photo of what we're talking about (thank you!):

...and I emailed Tige this morning asking for info on my 24Ve's existing grab handle. As usual, Harvey got back to me almost instantly with manufacturer, phone number, and part number. I'll contact them and see if they have a version that is footprint compatible with my existing one, which would make for a very easy install.

Another BIG SHOUT OUT to Tige for the world's best customer service!
