X2 - on my 2010 RZ2, it seems to be the corner of the platform, not the lip that causes a cut in the wave.

The 2008 platform that I had on there originally, was huge compared to the 2010 platform that I have on there now. The 2008 platform definitely disrupted the wave. Yes, even the smaller 2010 platform will have the corner drag in the water when you have lots o'weight in the boat. However, if you look at Ragboys research even with the corner dragging in the water if it is smooth it should reduce that whitewash/ripple you get on the top of the wave. If it does nothing to reduce that whitewash on the wave it was only ~5 hours of my spring and ~$150 in material.

I will look for pictures of the wave before and as soon as the lake thaws I will have pictures of the after results.

I am betting you dramatically clean up the face and crest of the wave. Better riding? Maybe. Better looking? Oh yeah

Major props for testing this out.
