It will be interesting to note how much it costs once you get a trailer and any options on it. The engine is the lower HP engine from PCM, I wonder if the buyer will upgrade that too.
        Be excellent to one another.

Ya, it's nothing fancy. It is as baseline a Tige as you can find. I would have thought that they would at least put it on a trailer. Don't get me wrong, I think what Tige has done is wonderful. However, I think they might have gotten a better bid turnout had they put more of a package together. When you leave out everything, even the trailer, people tend to shy away. You make it a one stop shop and a few more people might consider it. At least that's how I felt.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

My guess is that Tige didn't include the trailer because they don't build trailers, they build boats and that would be a direct cost out of their pocket for the donation. This is a HUGE donation on Tige's part to begin with, I don't see any other mfr's stepping up with a donation for this!

No TAPS either. Is this not a convex v hull? I thought that the TAPS is what made convex V function properly keep the boat from porpoising at different weights and speeds.

I won the bid on eBay. I've already talked to Tige about upgrades. The boat is not built yet, so I get to customize it. I feel like I got it for a great price, even considering the additional cost of a trailer, TAPS, etc. We are very excited. We are thinking of Red and Black because we are Texas Tech grads.

Also, the R20 doesn't have TAPS standard, but the plate is still there. I believe it is set to the #1 position.

Congratulations! We need pics once it's built and you pick it up. And, if Tige is willing to send you pics of the build process, please post those, too.

Congrats, let us know what you color scheme is gonna be

The TAPS is an option. Although I dont know of anyone who as driven the R20 with the fixed plate, I would highly suggest upgrading to the TAPS.

I am going to upgrade to TAPS. I test drove a RZR back in August in Abilene. I surfed behind it with factory ballast and TAPS set to 1. I'm a novice at wakesurfing, but it seemed to have a nice wake.

That being said. I want to have the option of adjusting things, so I am going with TAPS and Surf ballast.
