    WAKEBOARDING MAGAZINE

I just picked up Dec. 2010 wakeboarding mag and on the cover shows and section on pg.86 intittled Flagship Boats. So I flip to pg.86 and there is a MALIBU, pg.88 EPIC and MASTERCRAFT, pg.89 MALIBU again, pg.90 SUPRA, pg.91 MOOMBA and NAUTIQUE where is TIGE?????????Does TRANSWORLD WAKEBOARDING MAGAZINE not like TIGE?

My guess is that Tige decided to spend it's advertising dollars elsewhere.

What could it cost? $2K at most? Their new RZ 20 footer should be in that mag.

Chit, 2K will get you a 1/4 page in the local yellow pages. Who knows what the "advertising" would be a a mag with national or maybe even global distribution, plus internet, could be.

Seems they have been doing this the last couple years.

Tige hasent been in any wakeboat comparison like wakeboarding or alliance in a while. Makes me wonder who they are targeting for?

Print is dying a slow death and because of this, the return on investment is real low. I wouldn't interpret the lack of a mag add as targeting a different market, but maybe they have just found a better way to reach the same audience and more.

I think they are concentrating on the Tige website, this site and other internet sources. Even though it's not perfect, I do like the Tige website much better than MC.

And there you have it. Let's face it, if you are going to buy a new boat, you more than likely have a computer.

That being said, I always liked the mags because you could look at the boats you are considering much quicker than pulling up websites. Everything they say in these "Boat Buyers Guides" is just advertising . However, it is nice to have the pics and the specs all right there in one book.

I toured the factory in June and got a test drive in the RZ2 from Ben and told him the only thing I didn't like about the website is that there was no way to find the nearest dealer. Well now on the top right of the website you see the zip code bar, type it in and your closest dealer pops up.

I did that, and windows 7 was my idea too!

                          THE TRUTH

The truth on that there was a mistake in the content that was published in the magazine. As you will note we were featured on the web content and somehow were "misplaced" in the print version. The feature is built around our RZ4 and was a great review. This was an unfortunate scenario that is rather uncommon.

We have a great relationship with Transworld Wakeboarding and will continue to grow with them. Look for alot of great stuff in the coming year in both Transworld and Alliance, and look for us to be featured in the upcoming issue covering state of the art dashes and TigéTouch!

Tige is a strong force in the wakeboarding industry and are growing stronger everyday! We are not going anywhere. Thanks Tige owners for all of your support!

Well the word on the street here is that Malibu pretty much dominates the industry with the industry events and tours that they sponsor.

I was recently out in the lake watching a neighbor film some runs for his Malibu sponsor. He crew asked for me to park the Tige as it was in the backround of their shot and Malibu wouldn't be to thrilled to have it within their promotional add.
