RZ2

I'm looking at a 2007 RZ2. Anything I should know? Good? Bad? Was looking at both 22v and 24v.

Space wise, it falls between the 22Ve and the 24Ve.

The wetted surface (hull below the water line) is the same as the 22Ve, but the corner of the swim deck on the 07 RZ's tend to cut into the surf wake, when heavily weighted, creating a secondary lip in the face of the wake. For a recreational surfer like, it was nothing, but some didnt like it.

Other then that, IMO, the 22ft Tige is the best over all boat.

IMO it's the greatest boat in Tige's lineup! Handles rough water good, throws out a nice wakeboarding wake, awesome surf wave, spacious, comfortable and it has killer looks!

No problems with the RZ2's for 2007. Going on the third year of ownership and not one issue to report.

Love my '07 RZ2. My ONLY gripe is the bimini is a pain in the a$$, but that's a VERY small complaint vs. the overall boat.

We love ours aswell. I did just replace the rudder because it was cracked however I do believe that was a freak thing and Tigé replaced it. I have had Tigé replace the viynl on the back seat due to a seam coming apart.

If it has the stock ballast I would suggest modifiying the manifold.

There is more room in the bow of the RZ2 than the 22v.

We have the Z-series tower with the extended bimini and it is a PIA to put up and take down however when it is up it is great. So I'll sacrifice.

I also changed the stock seat base to a taller one to make it easier to see over the dash. Just a personal preferance.

I would recommend the RZ2 without question!

I would also recommend getting a new platform. The '07 hangs in the surf wake a lot. Or just make a Teak one. Other than that, cool boat.
