It sucks hitting alligator gar also... I gutted a 3 footer once and got whip lash...

That does not sound like fun. Hitting a real alligator must be really bad, cause it probably just pisses them off.

I bet it would. I have skied over one a double skis before. I was going to jump him but he went under at the last second. Looking back, that probably was not a very smart idea, but I was 15.
