You just like controversy, don't you? OK

MasterCraft is the best boat in the world. Everything else is crap. Those hulls have pulled more tournaments than all others combined because they are the best. Everybody copies MasterCraft. You're just jealous because you don't have one.

Its possible that MC found in turning that there hull reacted faster without tracking fins by rolling up on its side, because with the fins it would force the boat to make a wider turn esspecially to the left, im just guessing , but I know the older wake boats ive driven were a handful when loaded up and the ones without fins turn better.

True, boats should turn better without fins. I thought the fins helped the boat track straight especially when getting loaded up on the side from a rider making an aggressive cut. It's more critical for a ski boat to track straight and make it through the gates. I'm just surprised a legacy tournament ski boat is going away from tracking fins.

From their web site it is clear to that their bread and butter tourney boat the PS 190 and the 197 still have tracking fins. They idea behind the strut is introduce a small amount of air before the prop to get a smoother and softer ski wake. Not a new concept in the marine world but in the ski boat world yes.
