Wow, my heart truely breaks for you. Thank you for posting the picture along with the rest of the post. My daughter was born nearly eight months ago, and I can remember how supportive and excited the good folks on this site were as Jeffe and I had our first kids just days apart. Unfortunately, I've been AWOL on here for a few months and just saw this post. It seems like everyhting is at least as good as could be expected, and I'm glad for that. Please do keep us updated, as your family's and daughter's ordeal will surely be an inspiration to us all. I have a feeling your daughter will show you how strong such a small person can be! May the Lord give you and your family comfort and strength.
Matthew
By the way, she is absolutely gorgeous.

Emilee has made great improvements in the last 12 hours. Her blood pressure is nearing normal, heart rate is coming down and no more fever. They are slowly lowering her morphine levels and she is tolerating it well.
We did get her tumor diagnosis back and as we suspected it is what is known as a wilms tumor. The good news is it was only a stage 1 tumor and will require the lowest dose of chemo for 21 weeks, not the best outcome but could have been way worse.
I want to thank everyone again for all the kind posts, it has been very comforting to our Family. Reason why this still remains one of my favorite places to spend my time.
We still have a very long road ahead and I'm sure there will be some bumps in the road. I sure appreciate all the prayers and we still need them.
I will continue to update from time to time.
