Ok like i said is that that only test that puts it on top yes it is. And HP has nothing to do with towing up hill.

Of course there will always be some things better then others but total package is what we as consumers are after. What has the better total package? Looks, comfort, storage, connivence, economy, performance, price, durability, features?

"bells and whistles" or "true performance".

            For you it does.

For me i like like a truck that rides smoothest, and has the most interior room and comfort, and has all bells and whistles that help me and make my life easier, and can get the job done the best and most efficient way, and will last for many years to come.

I like Chevys in silver, fords in red, ram in black, I guess we'll be seeing more silver trucks on the roads?

I didn't realize you were a UPS driver! Good choice as a UPS truck since you were worried about reliability!

if you look in any of the diesel magazines, the chevy only wins by a few tenths of a second on all of the tests....to me, a few tenths of a second is worth a nicer all around truck. You cant honestly say that the overall quality of a chevy is anywhere near that of a ford...

A few tenths of a second with the job 1 ford. 65 ft lbs and 10 hp make a huge difference.

And the chevy never won in economy. So they can have there tenth of a second ill keep my few more miles per gallon any day.

Few more miles per gallon? It's decimal places (.06 gallons on 318 miles). Good thing they had that 10hp and 65lb ft for the hill climb cuz that helped em keep the deficit to only 2 minutes.

Both great trucks but Ford is killing me with 4 engines in 10 years, that's what I'm getting at! Hopefully for Ford that this is just a bad calibration or something that can be easily adjusted. I live and tow at altitude so I want to make sure that I'm getting the power that I paid for.

Id rather get to the top of the hill, and have enough fuel to get up the next one too

since 2001 ford has had the 7.3, 6.0, 6.4, and now the 6.7....

since 2001 chevy has had the LB7, LLY, LBZ (basically a LLY, but hey its different!) , LMM, and the new LML
                                http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duramax_V8_engine

fords killing YOU with 4 engines in 4 years? well chevy had 5....

if ford would just make a common rail 7.3L there would be absolutely zero competition...it would be insane.
