Hey guys, just saying Hi. Bought my first boat this spring, 2004 20i. Had a blast with it this summer learning how to wakeboard and surf. I'm addicted to the water sports already and can't wait to upgrade to a v-drive.

Welcome I am stilled surprised by the number of tige and other water sport boat owners that far north. What kind of season do yo have up there. It would be interesting to see which tige owner lives the farthest north. I guess we could look at the google map thread or just soumd off. Anyways congrats and welcome again. Go Jets

Welcome! Nice color combo, I'm partial to blue boats and I like the way the graphics flow on that boat.

KonaKing, when I was growing up in PA, we rarely boated there. My family always rented the same cabin on the about 1.5 hours north of Kingstson, Ontario, on the Rideau Canal. It was a 6 hour drive including customs pre-911 and the water there is beautiful, but a bit cool sometimes. When the water and scenery is pretty, you'll want to be out on your boat no matter how cold. I would love to bring my Tige up there and ride that water. My family had a 1968 Savage American with a 55 hp Homelite outboard, then finally upgraded to a 1988 19' byliner with an 85 hp force outboard, then the 1993 22' Bayliner I/O, and now my very own Tige!

I'm only an hour or so north of the USA border. I'm in the water towards the end of May (it's cold!) and go until the end of September, although I might only get a couple days in Sept nice enough to go.

We actually do most of our riding in Ontario. My inlaws have property there. You're right, the scenery is great and so is the water. The body of water we ride on is huge with lots of bays/canals. I can find a calm piece of water with 30mph winds.

I'm interested in your comment about wanting to "upgrade" to a vdrive. Just wondering why as it's my understanding that i's can produces a good wake and also allow for slalom skiing too!

Nice looking boat!! I think you will find the peeps on this forum to be pretty helpful. Again, welcome.

Biggest reason for upgrade is that I need the room. We sometimes have 8+ people in the boat. At a minimum we usually have 4 or 5 plus my two little boys.
