    6.0L 575 hp supercharged!!!!

reading the spec. page on the 2011 RZ2 on this site and it list that as an option? has anyone purchased it? that sounds crazy! I have been in the 2010 rz with the 409 and it had crazy power! I wonder what the test results would be?

I had heard that rumor before. I wasn't able to download that spec sheet...says it's missing.

If these are the ones I am thinking of, they are built just up the road in NASCAR USA (Mooresville NC) by a company that has been building Hi-performance boat engines for years.

Isn't it the Caddy CTS-V engine (marine version) like MC is using too?

The non-supercharged 6.2L is a little bit different than the supercharged one as it has lighter duty components.

It looks like an "LSA". The new Cadillac CTS-V uses a version of this engine.

So, if it's the same deal as MC is using, it's actually hopped up by a third party tuner.

No if MC is using the illmor's then that motor would be a V-10 But you can get the 6.2L S/C in the Malibu from Indmar so I believe you can get the same on in the MC enless they will use the v10 instead.

But i have no idea, All i know is there is no reason for more then a 6.0L. Especially sense PCM is offer a 6.0L 409 HP and a 6.0L 450HP. Dont get me wrong i love power i got a 550 + HP Car i love it but its just not necessary in a boat or even my car for that matter.

That is a thread not even worth going in.....

I agree. I dont see a need for a $10K engine upgrade where a $600 prop will work But, you know, some peeps are compensating for um, lets say, "short" comings
