Looking to buy a RZ4 or 24ve 2007 or newer.

    Hi all.
I am currently in the market for a new boat. I would like to find a boat over the winter months. I would really prefer a 2008 or newer 24Ve but if a 2007 or a RZ4 came up for a great price I would be interested.
    Thanks everyone.
    Jon.

Where in the country do you live? That would help with who would be selling their boat.

Looks like a good deal to me, and is just down the street from you.
        Be excellent to one another.

I may try another 22ve, but looking at a RZ2. How much more room do you have in your RZ 4 vs. the RZ2.

                    About 2 feet. J/K.

I think that the bow areas are essentially identical, and the storage compartments are identical, so just imagine the main cabin stretched 2 feet, but with an additional backrest/armrest behind the driver's seat. I would not get a RZ4 unless you plan on 10+ people on the boat on a regular basis.

I may be incorrect here, but I think that the bow area of the RZ4 is longer than that of the RZ2. I don't know if it is quite a full 1-foot longer, but I seem to remember our dealer describing it as roughly 1-foot in the bow and 1-foot in the cabin.

I was at the dealer yesterday comparing the two, and he told me the same thing -- 1 foot longer in the bow and 1 foot longer in the cabin. I'm not sure if that's exactly right (I didn't measure them), but the bow in the RZ4 definitely feels a little longer than the RZ2.

If you look at the side-by-side overhead views at the end of the 2011 brochure (http://brochure.tige.com/brochure11/), the bow in the 4 looks longer than in the 2.

I put a tape measure to both boats a couple of years ago and from what I remember it was about 10" extra in the bow and 14" in the main cabin. Another difference to note is that the RZ4 has two cup holders on each side of the bow by the speakers instead of beneath the bow filler cushion. I hope this helps.

                              Hi Jon,

Just wondering if you have found anything yet? We may have a 2008 RZ4 available soon, I can let you know if are still interested.
