Spent my day on saturday at Hyperactive watersports in Calgary...about 2 months ago I decided I was going to upgrade my 03 21i to "something". I looked at a lot of different boats, malibu, supereme, mb sports and even some mastercrafts. I had a trade in so I had to work that into the equation. There is good things to be said about all boats, and as far as I am concerned if your out on the water...its a good day. I have ridden behind most brands and I can't really say that I didn't like any of them.
The dealers on the other hand were a little bit of a different story...I got very tired of hear the answer to most of my questions being "it's a Malibu". Several occasions I stopped a salesman mid sentence and said "sell me your brand, don't just bad mouth all the others". Its funny, many salseman don't realize that a person has been riding for many years behind a lot of different boats and probably know more about them than they do. This was only a couple salses guys, and says nothing against the brand, so I took most of it with a grain of salt.
After all my research, dealing and looking it was an easy decision to stay with Tige'. Just a few props to the guys at Hyperactive for never once trying any pressure sales or anything along those lines. Just professionals that have a great product to sell. So staying with Tige' was an easy decision but trying to decide between an RZR and a Z1 on the other hand was one of the hardest (but best) decisions I have made in a long time.
I had my decision narrowed down to 2 choices...a 2010 Z1 with a nice load, the colours I like and surf ballast. They had some really nice price incentives on this on as well.

After spending the day with the boats and the guys I have decided to order a new RZR! There may be a little less room in the RZR as opposed to the Z1 but its pretty close, and Tige has done an incredible job on this boat. It is awesome! I am not going to post any numbers up but I can say that I am very happy with my deal.
So now I have to pick out my colours and wait for spring IT'S GOING TO BE A LOOOOOOONG WINTER!
