I asked the dealer if I could watch them winterize my boat the first year I had mine... He let me do a lot of the work as he talked me through it and only charged me 1/2 price
Now I winterize myself and even go beyond what they showed me.
My favorite part of the original post was to use a ziplock bag for the filter. Duh, why didn't I think of that? I always manage to keep oil off of carpet but it never fails that I get a few drips down inside the boat.
