Do you mean the rubber C shapped things that hold the metal supports in place? Have you tried using it without the crappy brackets? Ours broke so many times that I finally gave up. Now we just slip the metal supports into the back of the seat and rest the bottom on the supports without the brackets. Seems to work fine!
