    What about changing prop from factory to 1235 based on riding that day? Is it just better to get the 1235 or what advantages does the factory prop have? I will have 2000 plus for surfing and generally 2000 with people weight for wakeboarding at most 24 mph.
    GO BIG!!

      I'm happy with the 537 and I'm at elevation. The 537 is a pretty good prop. I'm thinking about going to the 1235 next year but we will see.

        You will be much much happier with a 1235 when you are surfing with that boat. I could not get a wake with the 537 no ballast then I threw on the 1235 and the surf wave was much larger. The wakeboarding wake was cleaner. My boat is the 24V which is the same bottom as your boat. I would go with the 1235. CHP or I can help you get that prop at a reasonable price. Just contact us.

        One last thing. Your boat will be much more responsive in the steering with the 1235 as another side benifit also.

          Boy, I hope that's true when in reverse... I'm really missing the control I have with my jetboat.

            I actually will have two spares if I get the 1235. I had a spare from the boat I traded, identical prop. How much top end is lost? And what is the fuel comparison? The boat now runs about 42 mph. When I ran 3800lbs of ballast the fuel just disappeared.

              The fuel will be about the same and the more control in reverse Welllllllll, unfortunately you will have no control in reverse on this type of boat.

                So I'm learning. {grin}

                Actually, what I've found in very limited experience so far is that with the wheel turned all the way one direction, the boat backs up to the right. With the wheel turned all the way in the other direction, the boat backs up to the right a little less.

                Just kidding... it appears I DO have some control over reverse direction, just not to the degree in my jetboat. The wonderful thing about a jetboat is that the impeller is spinning all the time, and that fore/aft is controlled by the thrust reverser and its ratio of forward to rearward thrust. This yields a VERY fine degree of control; you can feather F/R without shifting (because there IS no transmission at all). You can approach docks or other boats at any speed and have complete control over where you are and how fast you are going. It spoils you for other types of boats.

                Ah, but times change and so does what we want to do with our boat. We are gaining professional class wakes and surfable waves, and losing maneuverability and serviceability.
