OK, got it. I saw that line but given the perspective I didn't recognize it for what it was.

On the 24Ve, when you see that, list it over more. The more you list, the higher that line will be, and then it will disappear, giving you a solid wake face
Not just "deeper", but truly "listing" (i.e. tilted over more), correct? Which may mean not necessarily more weight in the back corner but perhaps along the side seat, toward the middle front-to-back?

which is perfect for launching airs and stuff on. Which eventually your eight yr old will LOVE to do.
    Never mind the 8YO - his Dad will love to do it too! {grin}

Yes, the deeper the boat is sunk in the water in the rear gives the wake its height, the list of the boat ( how much it is leaning) will help you make the face clean like that. On most tiges, rub rail kissing is about the magic list.

Perfect, I will plan my ballast accordingly.

        Thanks again!

Thursday through Saturday were a sort of bonus summer weekend. Those were unusually warm temps for October. Worked out perfectly for testing the new 24Ve!
Holy Cow! Boating season ends for us when the water dips below 78F. You people must have extra thick skin.

Due to geography, our lake is an especially warm one - and the max water temp we ever see is about 80F. Some of the lakes around here never get warm enough to go without a wetsuit.

On the flip side we have low humidity, multiple world class ski resorts, whitewater rivers for kayaking... so we just have sports "seasons" and shift gears depending on the time of year.

I do love these bonus summer weekends when we get them, though.

i went to mccormicks cable park last dec/january water temps were 62 to 65 degrees. i wore a heater shirt most of the regulars were wearing full wet suits. it's all what you get used to.i wakeboard in va till the water gets down to 60 after that the air temp will be at 60 or below then the combo of the two plus the wind is more than this old man can handle.congrats on your surfing sucess.
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.

We should set up a Washington get together next year! maybe somewhere centrally located. I do have access to property on the Columbia just below Lake Chelan.

Ewok (on this site) has suggested the same, and we've had interest from as far East as Montana so far, so perhaps my spot (Spokane/Coeur d'Alene) is reasonably central. I'm happy to host if that's what folks want to do!

I'm in for either location. It might be a good way to introduce the "new" Tige dealer to the area, have them advertise it as a sort of boat show and invite as many Tige owners down to the lakes as possible. Or just keep among us girls and do it at someones lake house.

Agreed - and it wouldn't hurt our (mine and Ewok's) relationships with the local Tige dealer to be the point men on the project if we decided to involve them. Let's keep the ideas rolling.

I would shoot for late June or July to let the ice melt and let the lakes warm up a bit. We could do wakeboard and surf demos. Maybe 4th of July weekend. I vote for Lake Coeur D'Alene for the dealer sponsored day since it is closer to the interstate, or anywhere else for non-dealer participation.

I'd push it out a bit further. During July the lakes warm up quite a bit (we don't get a "warm snap" until July).

Cd'A is the best choice for every reason except three: 1) Temperature (as a big lake, it never really gets warm), 2) congestion (the idiots with their cigarette boats and mini-yachts are lurking everywhere), and 3) chop (see #2, plus the lake is so big it has enough wind exposure to have some degree of chop almost all the time).

We might find some little bay to hide in, but the water will still be cold. It probably depends on what you want to do with the day. If just driving boats around, Cd'A is perfect. If actually pulling people for watersports, there are better choices but they won't be as freeway-convenient and won't have the on-water amenities.
