you need to give it a shot. wakeskating is great and I found the falls to be more forgiving, except when you land 1 foot on and 1 foot off. Im not that flexible if ya know what I mean

Yes, particularly since I won't wakeboard anymore due to being older and brittle. I broke my femur in half back in '99 wakeboarding, again in '00 in rodeo, then my tib/fib in '05, and pelvis in '08... I'm a torn up old man these days.
              Waiting for another good one!

Like Yllw20 said...The groin tear is the worst of the falls. Besides that they are funny to watch.

Definitely try wakeskating, you wont be disappointed. I can honestly say that I don't even wakeboard anymore.

that's all I usually do, but wouldn't mind a shot with the skate.

Before I got married I would be on the lake from march 1st until October 31st. This would be a long season for her. Late season is the best time with few boats and no yahoos.
                      GO BIG!!

That water looks quite nice. When its that buttery I find it harder to ski...my depth perception always seems less than par.

Where in CA can you ride without at flagger? I need to train our dog to hold the flag.

I guess thats the beauty of no one on the water, you can see the cops coming and get yourself "compliant"

There was no one on the Tom Steed in OK last weekend either, it was AWESOME!!!

We had a tower mount for our flag, and now a suction cup for it for the alpha z tower.

What is the law in CA? Do you have to have the flag up the entire time or only when the skier is down? I have read that in ID you only pop the flag when the skier is down.

That section of water is on the Colorado River a few miles above Needles. There is a rock bar right below our launch ramp and when the water is low in the morning, nobody goes up in our area. Its typically like that until around 10:00 or 11:00, unless the wind comes up.

The cops rarely venture upriver towards us...They launch out of Needles Marina and head down river towards Havasu.

I believe CA law says that the flag is up when there is someone in the water. The wife just left it up because she actually had the baby strapped to her in the Baby Bjorn so she had to concentrate on driving, flagging, the baby, the dog and me.

                                What a multitasker
