So on the tige touch there is video input for the screen. I know on other brand boats they give the option of a mounted camera on the tower that feeds to the screen. Anyone know why that wasn't an option for Tige? Also nothing goes into how it all functions and instructions for all the other video connections. Does anybody here get any use out of the video feature anyways?

Under the dash is a light blue box with about 8 video in/out ports. If you connect a video cable to INPUT ONE, it will show up on your screen. We have played with it to out put from our hand held camera and it works just fine in playback mode or when just viewing before taking pic or movies. with my camera, when actually taking a video, it doesn't output thru the port so the screen goes blue.

Tht is great stuff - keep it coming.
How about 4 cameras, all synchronized from different angles then edited into one video split into quad view? could be tower mount for high view, low boat mount, high-angle off-to-the-side-extended-ski-pole mount and hand held in the boat. RJ shreddin would look killer. Just an idea - been thinkin about that one. Then there's a separate monitor for quad view......and remote control record trigger......and..... well u get the idea. thats over the top Ghetto R&D.

So the video 1 works with screen. What uses can you get out of the other ports? I would think that tige would offer an option for a tower mount camera. Does anyone know of a decent camera that mounts to the tower and follows the wakeboarder according to the direction of the rope? This would make it easier on self learning my mistakes on with new tricks. I don't think the camera mount for surfing would quite work so well with wakeboarding.GO BIG!!

Oh and ragboy your feeds have been very helpful with surfing and inspiration in general. I only have about 65 hours on my boat now, I wish there were more time this year. So much I still want to try. This weekend I am going to sac the boat to what you have posted for yours. Any particular placement of bthe extra sacs I should know and any cautionaries about driving?GO BIG!!

They do have that option. At least I saw it in action on the red boat at the festival. It follows rope, and feeds to screen. They discussed later being able to also record to sd, or to internal storage, and then copy to flash drive, cool stuff like that. But the tower mount following rope, is very cool, but not for us, we don't wakeboard. So they had this in mind.
The other cool part, is the video 1 port, has in AND out. I believe it is passthrough, and am going to test. So I can feed cameras IN to this port, then out to a transmitter for broadcast to shore and to internet, how frickin cool is that? Or pass through to a dvr or camcorder to record the signal.http://wake9.com/

is the Tige Touch actually a touchscreen? I saw the Mastercraft system and I was surprised to see the screen wasn't a touchscreen. Had to use a little remote touchpad to control it. These days of touchscreen nav in vehicles, etc. that remote seemed a little outdated... lolWaiting for another good one!
