2008 Sea Doo 230 wake?

Has anyone ridden behind or on one of these? I still have my 22I however a guy @ work really needs to get rid of his, I seems like a killer deal.... any input would be great

i have seen them but never ridden one. test it out and post some pics of the wake.

From what i have seen is the resale is a killer on them.
All 4 people that i know of that had them wanted to upgrade to a tige had hell seling them and when they did they were upside down from 8 to 13 grand. They only had them for about 2 years. But i have no clue about the wake or anything else. I know for sure that it wont campare to your 22i as far as wake size, and firmness or even tracking with a rider behind the boat. That thing will be all over the place when you cut.

I've heard, but have not seen myself, that the surf wake sucks @$$. It's all wash due to the jets.

I was talking with a guy this summer who had one. Said the maintence was a KILLER. Turbo charged rotax engines...I don't know, pretty tough to beat the mercs and pcms. We actually met after he was hanging out watching us surfing and wanted to come over and see what all was involved with it...we talked for a while...pretty sure he owns a tournament boat now.

There is a guy on another forum that surfs with a 230, he has pictures, weighting, etc. It looks like you can surf with it with alot of weight.

Wakeboarding may not be the best, it was not discussed.
