Enjoy it, our temps are about to start cooling down and although we all like to complain about the HOT summers here, sure hate when it cools down lake season comes to an end. I guess I could always man up and ride all year since it never does get too cold here...ha! 102 with 11 mph here today!

I'll take 64, overcast and calm any day of the week here in WA state. Warm, clear sunny days bring out the riff-raff Been working nights and hitting the lake first thing in the morning for a bit. Went out 6 times last week and were essentially the only boat on the lake except for a couple of times. It's reallllly hard to let go when your are faced with a sea of butter but are so tired you can barely hold on. I think I like late summer/fall skiing more than just about any other time. Just something about climbing back in after a long run then kicking back in my snow skiing pants and my puffy, down mountaineering jacket.

It was in the 90's here in Colorado which is unusual but unfortunately, I couldn't get the boat out! This coming weekend looks good weather wise too so hopefully I can get out there for a little bit more!
