    I know, I hate it when people do that to me. RJ is working on the video. One of the coolest things to do on a new tige.

      OK, I posted this in another thread also, but I wanted to stay true to my word. This is one of the coolest things for a geek like me. Man, I love my RZ2.

        Hopefully there will be no off season this year. I plan on keeping my boat in a warmer climate. Even though it wont be tropical the water will not be frozen so after a short drive I hope to be able to ski every month this winter. Jan and Feb might be a struggle depending on water temps.
        I have done it Alpine skiing before. I think water skiing should be a little easier, not so much hiking. Below are the average temps for St George Ut.

            I am going to throw a "detail party". BBQ and my homemade beer to all my friends who come for a day of scrubbing and buffing.

            Also I have been saying I will repack wheel bearings for the last 3 winters.

                My 24Ve came with the "salt water steering cable". I wonder if it's more rugged, and if so it might be worth using THAT replacement to hopefully delay the agony of doing it again the next time.

                  I want to put new graphics on my boat. I hate the 08 graphics. Now I am trying to figure if I like the 2011 Vector better then the Freeride Z1 from 09 and 10. hmmmmm which one to pic? The cool thing about the Vector is you can add a little color if you want. My boat is black/white and graphite.
                  My wife is still trying to figure out what the hell happened. She thinks the boat is just fine the way it was when we brought it home from the dealer. Since then new ballast sacs, Tsunami pumps, upgraded stereo. Yeah, i dooped her into thinking all I need was the boat and we would be good to go.

                    I'd sure like to know who makes a better steering cable. Seems like if you leave the hull plug in, then rain water creeps in, then 6" of water in the hull....you get rewarded with another steering cable replacement. I demand a water resistant cable please.

                      I'm redoing mine with something all new. Im using Oracal 751 vinyl Azure Metallic Blue (299C) for base color, then Metallic Silver accent color then the stock graphics over that. I'll video all this for everyone to see and post on YouTube.

                      Cost of Vinyl was $450.00. Bought the graphics from Dom @ Fortes (forgot what I paid by he gave me a super bargain). Had stock graphics digitally scanned into JPEG so I can redo the stock graphics myself as well as make changes.

                      Won't know how successful this will be but it's sure cheaper than All Grip paint.

                        But are you willing to pay for it? As an Engineer, I can assure you it's possible to build almost anything. What I can't assure you is that you'll like the price! {grin}

                          Oh, and... why do you have six inches of water? No bilge pump?

                            Have you added the grounding straps to the cable and tiller arm that Dom recommends?

                              I don't think he leaves the plug in and allows that much water on purpose or at all. I think he was just asking why can't someone make a steering cable that could be designed for the lowest common denominator, the new owner who leaves the plug in and gets 6 inches of water inside the boat. Most owners would not let that happen but one owner on this site let his boat sit for a year with the drain plug in and the cover failed and the boat filled with rain water.

                                What grounding straps? to the engine ground? from the steering gear? does this help prevent corrosion?
