    Off Season Boat Projects?

Up here... way way up north, the season is done Were getting down to about 8c at night and the water is cooling off way too quick. Only thing left is to plan what to do to the boat.

    Im planning to:
finish my stereo, with either the Wet sounds or Kickers,
install some Wake design racks I bought from mtnsmith,
    and install dock lights,
Get rid of the damn manual pump and install full auto ballasts,

Any ideas on flush mount dock lights?

WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO YOUR RIDE IN THE OFF SEASON?

I'm planning on adding some amps, tower speakers, a sub, and adding some surf ballast on top of the basic ballast. I also want to add a heater.

        You need to move!
We don’t really have an off season. At the peak of winter, it will around 56F during the day. The lake I go to never gets below 60F and gets up to 85 in the summer. (Outside temp is around 100F). Most folks will use a wet or dry suite, but the young ones (like my teenager) will just wear shorts.
Tige, it's a way of life!

I know! 4 feet of ice on the lake is pretty depressing. The only thing Im looking forward to this winter is going down to Vegas in late Feb or Mar

Easy - get my new 24Ve delivered, learn about it, and design/install an automated ballast system. (All the questions I've been asking on this site should be clues!)

You can crawl around my boat when I get it up there to see how the factory installed the ballast, and we can work on our installs together.

I think I've still got injector issues. So I'm going to pull all those and get them cleaned.

Our stereo system sucks!! So need to upgrade that. Probably replace all the in boat speakers, add a sub, add tower speakers. Going to need a couple of amps. Might swap out the HU so I can get some working remotes.

Install an on board battery charger. Maybe an isolator/ARC.

Install boat buckles on my trailer.

Redo the floor on my '85 inboard. Build a back bench.

Not sure I'll get to anything as I'll likely be out of town for at least 4 months for work.

I have done almost everything I can think of to this boat.

So it is time to move on...

I will be putting in an onboard charger and another battery.
                      Be excellent to one another.

Interior is getting yanked and recovered. Aside from that, just the occasional washing of the tears from missing her so much. lol

oh, and I was too lazy to wire my starting battery to the onboard charger, so that needs to be done still...
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

It's said that when the boat is "finished", it's time to sell it and get a different one.

Filling and glassing the bottom of the 09 RZ2 swim platform so it is smooth.

Replacing hard "e" swim platform pad with SeaDek or a Tige squishy pad.

Re-routing my rear custom surf sack vent lines to cross to the other side to fix auto-draining.

Converting single u-shaped bow ballast sack to two sacks for side specific weight.

Thinking about adding a speaker somewhere I can hear it near the driver's seat.
