    Cleaning exterior

What does everyone use to clean the exterior of their boat. Mine has water spots and I'm not sure what to use to remove them.

        X2

When my Bucket 'O Babe's is empty I'll order the Hot Sauce and determine which I like better but I am very pleased with Babe's so far.

or can't believe no one has said this, just use the white vinegar and water mixture, 50/50 or is it applecider vinegar... I forget but it's a good one too..

X2 on half water/white vinegar. Bought two big jugs of vinegar from Costco for alot less then babes and it works great.

If really bad you can use 3M Marine Cleaner/Wax either by hand or with a light buffer. I've used at end of Season before putting up and really works well. I used on my old boat that was oxidized by previous owner and it really did a good job.

This year I've been wiping down boat with the Babe's Spot remover on the lift after each outing and have totally kept the water spots in check.

Uou can add a cap full of wax to it and it works great.

                      Smells like crap tho....

Now I use hot sauce and cut it 50/50 with distilled water. Works just as good at 100% hot sauce.

Good thought! The stuff costs as much as gold if you break it down by the ounce.

When I had some really severe spots...Lime-Away!!!!!! Worked even better than Flitz.

I think the Hot Sauce is better than Babe's I have been using for years. But I need a few more weeks with the Hot Sauce to know for sure.
                        Be excellent to one another.
